Omfg she was so good last night. She had just been ridden like an hourish ago and she was feeling fresh at the end for Gina and then we gave her a rest and some alfalfa before I tacked up and got on and she was perfect for me, nice and forward! And we did stirupless work and it was like my 3rd time doing that and we cantered stirupless and it was a groovy time. I also learned my lesson about looking down over jumps since I did once and ended up on the ground whoopsies but we went around and finished on a good note! My position has gotten so much better both on the flat and over fences and my trainer is so proud of us :3

It’s been about a year since I started riding this intense goober and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’ve shared our accomplishments and had our downfalls and rough patches. She’s dumped me countless times and she’s taught me so much. You could look at where we began to where we are now and you’d never believe it was the same pair.
To the unfit, testy, mareish thoroughbred and the scared beginner who are now a team with 7 and counting ribbons and countless shows ahead of them.
Even though you’re not mine and sometimes you really piss me off, you’re my baby and I’d do anything for you.

Halo and I went on the dike together for the first time and Heather was with us riding Lancelot and we trotted and cantered on it and I’ve never cantered on the dike before and it was really fun then we went into our field, which has like a grass track around it, and went into the grass on the track and off roaded it through the super tall grass and it was rlly rlly fun omfg

Halo’s been very good for the past 2 weeks! We’ve been doing a lot more verticals and oxers and we even did a triple bar (which i put a picture of up) I’m leaving for california tomorrow so I won’t see her for 2 weeks and I hope she’s good for otehr riders during that time!
Halo and I did our and my first triple bar today!! It’s really little to some of you but whatever I’m really proud.
Rode this majestic being today and it was hot hot hot but she had good fun in the outdoor rolling as you can see
Halo was SO GOOD TODAY!!! This is the best course we’ve ever done and she didnt refuse one fence and I’m so proud and Jonny (whose finger you see at one point) taught me as Heather, his fiancee and my usual trainer, had a migraine and went home (aka across the street) and I always have fun with Jonny. He said I look a lot more confident and we looked really good. It’s only a 2ft course but I’m so happy with her and I.
